Clone Opel ECU

Opel control units have used immobiliser coupling since approx. the year 2000 — a simple swap does not work. Cloning transfers the complete configuration including the immobiliser binding onto a tested replacement unit.

  1. Inquiry and diagnostic pre-check

    Send us the vehicle model, year of manufacture, control unit type and the fault pattern. We assess whether the control unit can be cloned for this model and which software version is fitted.

  2. Diagnostic scan (if the vehicle runs)

    Full diagnosis with multi-brand equipment covering the Opel data set: read the fault memory and secure the configuration data. Shows whether the defect lies in hardware or software — a precondition for clean cloning. Tech2 and TIS2000 are the Opel factory systems; we do not run them.

  3. Remove the control unit and ship it

    Remove the control unit (removal guide on request), pack it safely in an anti-static bag and ship it. Shipping materials on request.

  4. Cloning and configuration transfer

    Full readout of the control unit software: main program, calibration data, immobiliser data, VIN binding. Transfer onto a tested replacement control unit.

  5. Function test and return shipment

    Diagnostic final check: configuration correct, immobiliser data transferred, no communication errors. Return shipment with written report.
