Why clone instead of buying new?
Buying a new ECU from the manufacturer means, in addition to the part itself: programming, SCN coding, variant coding and adaptation to your vehicle. With complex systems such as DSG mechatronics or engine ECUs, this adds up substantially.
With cloning, we transfer the complete vehicle data from your defective ECU onto an identical replacement unit. The result: your vehicle recognises the cloned ECU as its own. No elaborate reprogramming, no compatibility issues.
Result: in most cases, cloning saves a considerable share of the cost compared with the new-part route — at identical function.
Fixed price after inquiry — always
We quote you a binding fixed price before any work begins on the ECU. After the diagnosis you receive a written report — the repair starts only after your explicit approval.
If cloning is technically not possible, only the diagnosis cost applies. The ECU is then returned to you.
