Send in your defective mechatronics — receive it back cloned onto a tested replacement unit. Diagnosis with the original VW/Audi diagnostic system (ODIS) before cloning. No re-learning procedure, all adaptation values fresh. Nationwide via send-in service.
Golf 7/8 1.0/1.2/1.4 TSI, Polo, A1, A3 1.4 TFSI
Typical: Clutch overheating, creep-mode judder, fault code P17BF/P0730
Golf 7 GTI/R 2.0 TSI, Passat 2.0, Tiguan, Skoda Octavia RS
Typical: Mechatronic data loss after a control unit failure, fault codes P17xx
Golf 7 R, Tiguan 2 2.0 TSI/TDI, Arteon, Audi S3
Typical: Mechatronic shift faults, loss of adaptation after a battery change
Tiguan, T-Roc, Amarok, Touareg (earlier), Arteon 4Motion
Typical: Mechanical defects more common than mechatronic ones — diagnosis required up front
Fixed price quoted on inquiry. Including manufacturer diagnosis, cloning, return shipping, written report and a 12-month warranty.
Typical for the DQ200: clutch K1 overheats, the mechatronics store adaptation errors. During cloning the adaptation values of the defective unit are not transferred — the replacement unit starts fresh.
Vehicle enters limp mode, D/S can no longer be selected or the automatic gearbox does not react. Mechatronic fault or hydraulic block damage. Diagnosis with the original VW/Audi diagnostic system clarifies which component is affected.
Fault codes P17BF, P0730, P17XX, P0961 — common DSG-specific codes. They do not always mean a mechatronic defect. The original VW/Audi diagnostic system reads all shift adaptation values and shows the full picture.
After an accident, water damage or a short circuit: mechatronic data loss. Cloning onto a replacement unit is the most economical solution compared to a replacement mechatronics unit with a learning procedure via the original VW/Audi diagnostic system.
Send us the vehicle, the gearbox designation (DQ200/DQ250/DQ381/DQ500) and the fault pattern. We check feasibility and quote a fixed price within one working day.
In Hardegsen or via send-in service: the original VW/Audi diagnostic system reads out all mechatronic fault codes, shift adaptation values and the configuration data set. Only this allows a proper judgement whether cloning is the right solution.
Remove the mechatronics unit, pack it safely (anti-static, no loose connectors) and ship it. Removal guide on request. Shipping label on request.
Full readout of all mechatronics data regions: transmission control, adaptation values, VIN binding, configuration. Transfer onto a tested replacement mechatronics unit.
Final check with the original VW/Audi diagnostic system: configuration complete, no fault codes, adaptation values transferred. Insured DHL Express return. Written report and warranty document enclosed.
Not every DSG problem is a mechatronic problem. The manufacturer diagnosis distinguishes:
