Deployed restraint components must be replaced as required by the manufacturer. Resetting or transferring SRS data is considered only where the specific manufacturer procedure permits it and the findings support that work. Motorsport use alone is no general exemption. Vehicle commissioning and a complete system check remain necessary. We commission Mercedes ABS/ESP, airbag/SRS control units and SAM modules only with the vehicle at our workshop in Hardegsen-Gladebeck, Germany. Sending the unit alone is not sufficient. Contact us before buying, removing or shipping it.

An airbag warning light can come from sensors, belt tensioners, the clock spring, seat wiring or the control unit itself. Only a diagnosis of the complete restraint system shows what is actually required.

We commission Mercedes airbag/SRS control units only with the vehicle here in Hardegsen-Gladebeck. Please do not ship the unit on its own; we arrange an appointment with you.
